I am inspired every time that I look at it. It is both beautiful and complex in a way just paint doesn't allow. I also derive a secret pleasure when my father (a "sunday painter") comes to visit and just stares at it, scratching his head (my father thinks Monet pulled a fast one convincing the world he was a real painter).
