I find that my favorite thing about CSS is the control over your site that it gives you. The simplicity behind even the most crucial changes can all be handled through even the smallest change in your CSS file.

This is a great point as this is no longer 1999, and in the last 10 years the advancements on the web have been such a jump that the introduction of CSS truly revolutionized the web design field. You will be hard pressed to find ANY website on the web that does not have at least 1 line of CSS used in it.
