I have no idea what you call someone who is obsessed with obsessive people, but that’s totally what I am.
And I’m also obsessed with making lists, which comes in handy if you (like me) don’t proclaim to be a strong writer. So, for your sake and mine, this article will be a list of my favorite obsessive people with links to their stuff. Here goes…

1. Jonathan Keller
This dude started a daily self-portrait project in 1998. He’s still going at it, along with a zillion other mind-blowing obsessions that’ll make your head hurt, but in a good way.

2. Noah Kalina
Since 2000, this guy has been taking a daily self-portrait, but unlike JK above, his background changes — and he wears a lot more plaid. Oh, and, so far, his video has been viewed 13,347,721 times. So, I’m not alone.

3. Christophe Rehage
I swear, this is my last self-portrait photo guy. In 2007, this over-achiever decided to walk from China to Germany while photographing himself daily. The scenery changes are truly spectacular, and he’s not afraid to smile (I’m talking to you JK and Noah) or let his beard get really gross.

4. Sheena Matheiken
Not only does this gal rock a little black dress—every day for a year—with more style than I know what to do with, but her obsession is also raising funds ($13,430 so far!) for a cause close to her heart. You go girl.

5. Kate Bingaman-Burt
As if teaching at my alma mater and being the most kick-ass ADCMW Annual Show judge wasn’t enough, Kate’s daily drawings of her purchases and craftivism activism have earned her the title of My #1 Obsessive Person. Just Google the word “obsessive” and scroll down to about the 5th listing; it’ll be Kate’s website, Obsessive Consumption. (You could also look up “stalker,” and it’ll be my picture.)

6. Chris Piascik
I have no idea how to pronounce his last name, and I don’t care. I’m pretty sure he belongs to every possible creative Flickr pool and it (kind of) makes me angry, but then I remember how much I heart his daily drawings, and that makes me smile.

7. Randel Plowman
This Kentucky guy has been making a collage each day since 2006. They’re all gorgeous and for sale, but hurry, at the crazy affordable price of $25 a piece, they don’t last long. And just to be a bit more annoying, he shoots some fab photographs as well. Sigh.

8. Marc Johns
Ok, so he doesn’t post every single day, but his quirky little illustrations are so friggin’ adorable that I’m willing to overlook it. And we share a love of mustaches.

Those are some of mine — now, are *you* obsessed with anyone obsessive?
